16th World Congress on Engineering Asset Management (WCEAM) was held in Seville, Spain, from 5th to 7th October, 2022. The events provided an opportunity for participants to meet in person aftermath of the Covid 19 lockdowns and travel restrictions. The high level of industry participation provided testimony of the remarkable interactions between academia and industry to advance knowledge and practice of Engineering Asset Management. The high quality of the events of 16th WCEAM provided further testimony of the successful collaboration between the International Society of Engineering Asset Management (ISEAM), the Spanish Association for the Development of Maintenance Engineering (INGEMAN), BCO Congresos Seville, and the University of Seville.
